Origin Story: Another Hong Kong classic in celebration of the year of the dragon. We first featured seafood XO sauce. This time, it’s shumai, a type of dumpling originally from southern China. They are also commonly found in Thailand, everywhere from street vendors, to 7-11, to upscale restaurants.
