Origin Story: Kanazawa, the jewel of Japan’s Ishikawa prefecture, sits where the Sea of Japan yields some of its finest seafood – including prized sakura ebi and other roe-bearing delicacies. The Lay’s Flavor Department distilled that coastal umami into chip form, bringing a taste of the Noto Peninsula to Singapore’s snack aisles.
