Origin Story: The reigning king of British cheese, second only to mozzarella on the world stage. Its path to global domination has, thankfully, been a lot more peaceful and less exploitative than that of the actual British monarchy. That would seem to make it a prime candidate for this Taste of England flavor. That, plus the fact that the blood sausage flavor whipped up by the Lay’s Flavor Department fared poorly in focus groups.
