Origin Story: The Flavor Department in the UK spent three weeks arguing over whether “Sizzling” should be a sound or a feeling before settling on whatever sounded most aggressive. They basically threw a bunch of liquid smoke and salt into a centrifuge and hoped it would conjure the idea of a pig. The result is a bag of chips that claims a very specific level of heat and noise, regardless of whether any actual sizzling occurred.
