Origin Story: Through its Paysanne series, the Lay’s Flavor Department in France has given us some complex flavors that practically require a culinary degree to pronounce. Then someone walked into a meeting for this chip and said, “What if we just… called it spicy?” (or the French equivalent) and everyone nodded. Sometimes genius lies in simplicity. Sometimes it is 4:45 PM on a Friday and you just want to go home.
