Origin Story: Cheese is no stranger to the face of a potato chip, although more often than not, it is brightly colored orange powder concocted in a lab. The Lay’s Flavor Department in the Commonwealth of Independent States, however, are purists who believe that a potato chip called ‘cheese’ should be made with actual cheese.
