Flavor: Seaweed
Country: China (found in Poland)
When Seen: April 2026
In a Bite: The perfect hint of seaweed and salt
In a Haiku:
Ocean whispers soft
Salt-kissed waves in every bite
Seaweed salt delight
Origin Story: There are no shortage of seaweed-inspired Lay’s flavors, but they always either brand it as a specific seaweed type (such as nori or Kyushu) or try to enhance it. Not this flavor though. The Chinese Lay’s Flavor Department wanted your recollection of eating seaweed sheets to stand on its own merits.
