Origin Story: If you’ve spent any time in Romania, you know that the local palate has a deep affection for flavors that hit both ends of the spectrum—salty and sour, sweet and spicy. The Lay’s Flavor Department decided to lean into this duality by pairing a sharp, zesty lime with a punchy chilli heat. By putting it in the Maxx “deep ridged” format, they’ve essentially built a flavor-trap, ensuring that every single ridge is packed with enough acidity to make your eyes water and enough heat to keep you coming back. It’s a loud, aggressive chip that doesn’t just suggest a flavor profile; it demands your full attention.
