Origin Story: Another in the Lay’s Thailand Inspired by series, pasta loving purists will have to forgive the team for passing over cacio e pepe. After all, carbonara is still considered to be one of Rome’s four classic pasta dishes. And while carbonara certainly does have a fair share of parmesan cheese, one would be remiss to call that out as the star of the dish. Nevertheless, the Lay’s Flavor Department has done the best with the knowledge they have of Italian pasta. At least they didn’t release a pasta with ketchup flavor.
