Origin Story: We’re hearing conflicting stories from our sources regarding the origins of this flavor. According to one, the Lay’s Flavor Department team member who created it was a big In Living Color fan, and created this as an homage to Homey D. Clown. However, another source claims that it was originally intended to be ‘honey pizza’, but the designer who put the packaging together misheard it as ‘homey’. Which do you believe?
