Origin Story: We’ve already covered the origins of the Layers variety in the Three Cheese post. As with the roll out of any new snack, a safe bet is to go with a classic flavor so that consumers are not overwhelmed by both a new look and taste. It made good sense then to go with the tried and true sour cream and onion for one of the two premiere Layers flavors.
