Origin Story: While China has long had a strong relationship with North Korea, it has had more complicated relations with the South. However, with the Ninth Trilateral Summit between China, South Korea, and Japan in May 2024, things started to warm ever so slightly. Wanting to capitalize on and extend this positive energy, the Lay’s team in China created this tribute to Korean roasted chicken.
