Origin Story: Crab curry first made its premiere in the Lay’s world as part of the limited edition Thai Taste series that hit the shelves in 2019. Despite generally positive feedback from consumers on its flavor, there was general disappointment surrounding its inability to live up to the experience of cracking into a crab’s claw. After three years of experimentation, the Lay’s Flavor Department has delivered this extra crunchy version, which is sure to win blind taste tests against genuine crab curry. Bet you won’t even be able to tell which crunch is from a chip or shell.
