In a Bite: Either our tongues are broken, or for some reason this only seems to taste like mild cream cheese on a chip. No detectable bacon or any real spiciness.
In a Haiku: Wrap it in bacon. Makes for appetizer gold. Except when not there.
Origin Story: Originally developed at the ‘Plain bagel with cream cheese’ flavor. However, the Lay’s Flavor Department rightly understood that such an inspiring flavor would likely not move off the shelves. So instead they rebranded it as a classic American appetizer, except that they forgot to add either the bacon or jalapeño to the flavor mix.
