Origin Story: The Lay’s Flavor Department have had a bit of a Southern food obsession lately, so it was only a matter of time before this Southern classic found its way onto a potato chip. Sadly, what appears to have been their take of fried green tomatoes with remoulade sauce came out tasting like mayonnaise chips. So unless you’re Belgian, you might be better off finding another flavor. In their defense though, fried green tomatoes don’t really taste like much to begin with. Don’t worry team, you can’t win ’em all!
